The venue location sometimes dictates the tone and style of the décor. Based on the event space and lay out, we can explore whether you will be requiring minimal décor or something more elaborate. We will look at all the important areas that would require special attention and focus. The length of time the guests will spend in each area or the time available to set up or take down, may also determine to what extent we can decorate. We have worked in several of the hotels, country clubs and unique venues in our area over the many years, and would be able to recommend one that would be suitable for your event. If you are unsure of your décor budget, we can help you determine a budget that will give you the best results for your needs. Typically minimal décor budgets often range between $15. to $45. per person, a more lush decor concept often ranges between $45. – $95. per person. For decor that is elaborate and “over the top” it can range from $100. per person and beyond. After we establish your décor requirements, we will offer you a quote or a “wish list” of the estimated costs. Once you receive the preliminary quote, we will require a deposit, to confirm our services.
Set-up and Take-down Services
We offer labour packages from very minimal to extensive, and are based on the time and work involved. We require that these set up and take down services be booked and scheduled in advance. Last minute set-up and take-down services may not be available or will often be in premium rates. We recommend booking our design, set-up and take-down services as soon as possible, as many of the popular occasions and event days book early. Pick up and delivery services are included in our labour packages. Additional labour charges are incurred when scheduled venue access time is denied, or if the event is running later than specified, or any other circumstances that prevents us from setting up or taking down and event.
